I started working in the hair industry at fifteen years old.  I started as an assistant.  I got my Cosmetology license three years later and became a hairstylist at eighteen.  I have now worked in this industry for fifteen years.

I have worked at many top salons in the DC area which include, Ronnie Elias Salon, Salon Cielo, and Salon Bleu.

I am constantly going to education classes so I can keep up with the latest trends and hair care services.

My Business

I started Hair Designs by Betsy in 2004 after having my first child.  Family is very important to me and this has given me the opportunity to create the perfect balance between my family and my career.
